collegiate referral letters
When college sororities conduct new member recruitment, sometimes they request letters of referral from prospective new members. We can either provide you with a referral letter or assist with finding an appropriate follow-up contact.
We will provide referral letters to women who have received their high school education or junior college in the greater San Diego County. If you need a letter, please provide us with the following information:
Not all chapters and universities require the above information; however, if not provided your referral may not be accepted by the collegiate NPC chapter.
Please ensure you provide at least 6-8 weeks for us to assist you with this process. Please email your request and the above information at [email protected].
SDAP does not have member delegates for all 26 groups. Please refer to our About Page to see what current delegates our chapter has. If you need a recommendation for a chapter not listed, we advise that you go to the inter/national website for that NPC member group to request a local contact.
Please note that even though SDAP had a delegate for your needed chapter, it is at the delegate's discretion on whether she will provide a letter to you. If the delegate declines a referral letter, she will confirm via email that she will not provide a letter. You may contact the inter/national website for that NPC member group to request a different local contact.
If you are planning to go through recruitment in the fall and would like to learn more about sorority life from members, then please know that you are welcome to attend our June meeting. At this luncheon, we honor our high school scholarship recipients and members share their sorority experience. Parents are welcome to attend with their daughters.
